One Saturday in Central Park, my Ipod unexpectedly began to play a lecture I had downloaded many months ago. A very wise, gentle yoga teacher was explaining the many holistic health benefits of Kundalini Yoga.
He mentioned how our fingers when pressed together stimulate 72,000 nerve endings (our feet have 72,000 also). How breathing soothes our organs and glands, the guardians of our health. How vibration or sound impacts the billions and billions of microbes throughout our body, triggering the healing process and cleansing unwanted habits from our subconscious mind.
“Wow,” I thought. “Sound waves are so powerful.”

Ahhh, our thoughts, words, “inner music”, and outer music are more powerful than I ever imagined.
It causes me to pause and think about the sounds I choose. What about you?

Then after about five years Continue reading
