June is a great month which symbolizes activity, passion and potential, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. So here’s my Whole Life Action Plan that takes a holistic health approach and includes- ritual, new food for my stomach and all 5 senses, celebration of the sun and loved ones, and even nothing (yes, nothing).

Week of June 1st – Daily Ritual with Our On-line Network Community for Yoga. Our goal is Self Renewal and Increased Joy: balancing sodium and sugar, your glandular system, and the left and right hemispheres of your brain, and increasing youthfulness and health. Includes meditation and dance for inner and outer JOY!
Week of June 7th – Leave-the-Office-Earlier-Day. Though it officially is June 2nd why not select a day this week to give yourself an afternoon with nothing scheduled and see where your heart leads you.
Week of June 14th – Pop more Antioxidant-Rich Berries and Create Something New. Over a bed of greens, add sliced strawberries, fennel and orange with 1 ½ Tbsp. fresh lemon juice and 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil. Add salt, pepper, and orange zest to taste.
Week of June 21st – Celebrate Twice. On June 20th, Father’s Day, think about one unforgettable lesson your father taught you. If you can, share it with him. If not, share it with us! On June 21st, celebrate Summer Solstice. If in New York, join 100s of us for a Free yoga class in Times Square and a Solstice Gift Bag. Week of June 28th – Feed All 5 Senses. Listen to music with eyes closed, fill your mouth with a peach, luxuriate in a foot, hand or head massage, smell a rose (the official flower of June), and look into the eyes of a loved one for 3 minutes.
