How To Go From “Queen of Mean” to “King of Kind”
Last month, our motivating blog, How to See the World Differently in 90 Seconds, came with a challenge- to watch spontaneous acts of kindness as captured in a video and to watch it everyday for 30 days.
This challenge excited some of our avid readers’ spirit. Yet out of all the participants, only one accomplished viewing the video for 30 straight days.
Research states that when we do ANYTHING for 30 days, we create a new habit. So guess what new habit was created?
“I started seeing more kind acts and even received more kind acts throughout my day!” Takemi said.
This is proof positive of the saying, “whatever you focus on E-X-P-A-N-D-S.” So, if you SEE what people do wrong or how they upset you, you might feel that the world is mean and heartless. But if you SEE acts of kindness, and begin to attract acts of kindness to you (which is a universal law), you experience the world as a kinder place.
