How to Create Loving Habits More Easily

This is true for me and guess it’s true for you! Why? Resistance is why!
We’re wired for survival. Our ancient brain basically prefers we keep doing what we’ve been doing for fear new habits may not turn out very well.
But clearly there are old habits that no longer serve us and we would prefer replacing them with new habits that do.
Want to start creating habits (that you love and love you) more easily? I’ll illustrate how through a recent experience.
- A week or two ago, I began another 31 day meditation. (The required time to plant a new habit and give it a chance to take root.) I felt a lot of resistance and sensed it wasn’t best for me. Then a client with auto-immune disorders met with me. As I put her protocol together, it spoke to me in spades!
- So I’m on day 2 to help balance my nervous and immune systems and loving it each day. I thank my more conscious mind for giving me the feedback I needed (and my heart for listening) so I can distinguish between “should” choices and “loving” choices.
