How to Get Rid of Stress for EVERYONE in Your Office?

Ahhh, less stress.  It’s easier than you may think.  In fact, what if I told you that you CUNY w exercisecould begin today (with just 3-5 minutes a day) to make that happen.

Two important statistics: 1) Decreased productivity and increased absenteeism cost the average employer an additional $3,000-$4,000 yearly or $3-400,000 per year for just 100 employees.  2) By 2030, 42% of Americans will be obese and cost $1 Trillion more in health costs.  You can prevent this and be the hero at your office. Let’s talk.

Some background information: For those who know me, I came from the corporate world, specifically Citibank.  Once I started Beyond Body Mind Spirit, I dove head first into yoga pants and left my pin-stripes behind.

Yet when the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) asked for help, I couldn’t say no.  I’m always up for a challenge, and what better challenge than to de-stress one of the most stressful environments on the planet in which billions of dollars change hands within seconds. Over the 6 months we spent together, many of them actually became fans of yoga and enjoyed fewer sick days, a good night’s sleep, and better focus.

These days, with stress causing so much dis-ease and disease, we decided to create 1-minute exercises everyone could do at their desk to address the most common problems, like lower back pain, more energy, improved focus, less shoulder and neck pain, better digestion and a stronger immune system.  Unlike some other workplace exercises, these incorporate Kundalini energy that bring immediate relief AND long lasting results.

Want to be sick less often?  Here’s the exercise to Strengthen your Immune System:

  • Sit in a chair with a straight spine, feet on the floor; cross your arms in front of your chest, elbows bent at 90 degree angle, arms parallel to the floor, with right hand around the left elbow and left hand around the right elbow.
  • Inhale and raise your arms up so they touch your forehead; exhale and lower your arms so they touch your navel.  Continue for 1-3 minutes.
