Since 1998, Michele has been a TV producer of her own yoga show, Beyond Body Mind Spirit.
Today she is known as “America’s Mindfulness Expert.”
“My secret to mindfulness? “Meditation is personal: that’s why your meditation should not be the same as mine.”
She has always wanted yoga to be easily accessible to anyone who is ready.
“When I first attended Summer Solstice in 1995 on a mountaintop in New Mexico, I looked around the crowd and didn’t see minorities or curvy people. When I asked my teacher, the master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan, why, he suggested that I find a way to include them. So I did – first through this free cable tv program and later through my 365 Yoga LIVE program that is available to anyone from anywhere.”
Michele is really all about giving people a direct experience so each of her shows is a how-to – from learning how to breathe, to reducing how often you get a cold, to preventing burn-out.
