Ready for an Oprah Fix?
It’s been several weeks since Oprah’s official last show. So I thought from time to time, I would offer an Oprah fix- maybe a few stories, some inspirational words, or a how-to.
If you’ve been reading my blogs, you know I’m a how-to gal. I just love to try something out and get my own sensory experience of it. Also, doing it myself lets me know if what was true for someone else is actually true for me. So here’s today’s how-to:
How to Balance Sugar & Sodium in Your Body
and Feel Better in 3 Minutes
1. Sit in a chair, feet on the floor
2. Lean back 10 degrees so your shoulder blades are coming together
3. Raise arms out in front, higher than your head, wider than your shoulders. Fingers spread apart
4. Begin taking short in and out breaths through your nose as you synchronize it with the in and out pumping of your navel for 3 minutes.
