The Winner Is
This article by YogaMint brought such a smile to my face, I just had to share it with you. And I’ve invited you to be right up there.
Award Your Life
“In this season of film awards, it might be fun to remember that we are all “starring” in the movie of our own lives. So why not have some fun and award yourself for all your special accomplishments? Dress up in your finest duds and take yourself and your friends out to celebrate! Nominate yourself for “Best Mother in a Supporting Role” or “Outstanding Achievement in Caring for Elderly Parents.”
Why not take out a little time in your life to recognize all that you and your loved ones do to make the world a better place? You could be the “Most Improved Weekend Athlete” or receive a “Lifetime Achievement Award” for all the efforts you’ve made to improve your life and achieve your goals.
You don’t have to be a big movie star or produce a blockbuster film to deserve recognition. The movie of your life is playing in a theater near you (your mind!), so bust out some “red carpet” treatment and have a night of kudos for just being you.”
If you’re like me, I am guilty of not doing this enough. So I’d like you to accept the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for all your efforts and all your achievements. Write and tell me what you’ve done to receive this award and how you’ve honored yourself and celebrated your great role.
I’ll compile an E-Book and send it to James Franco and Anne Hathaway who are hosting this year’s Academy Awards. Maybe next year they’ll add a new category!
